A passion for creativity is something that has lived in me since as long as I can recall.

As a young kid, I would watch, captivated by my friends Father who was a sign painter.  He would deftly hand-letter signs and I recall thinking how magical it is that someone can create stuff like this using their hands.

I recall the aroma of oil paints, turps and linseed oil.  A table crammed full of tins with all myriad of colours, drips of paint all over the floor and a box full of brushes and half-dried signs resting on easels.

How fortunate am I then to be living this dream where I too can create images using my hands.  My friends Father spotted this passion in me back then and took me on in his business.  I learnt the art and importance of paying attention to detail and strived for years to perfect the skills taught to me.

More than 30 years on and while these skills are still with me, they have not been at the fore of my trade for some time now.  In recent years I have begun to follow a desire to pick up the brushes once again although in a slightly different discipline.
